JT Torres Highlight This is a video highlighting JT Torres in matches. JT Torres is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner. In this video he competes in IBJJF Worlds (Mundials), ADCC, and Metatmoris competitions in the gi and no-gi. He faces off against other amazing bjj competitors like Lucas Lepri and Garry Tonon in this highlight reel. He trained at team Loyd Irvin and at Atos with Andre Galvao. For many years, Keenan Cornelius was his training partner. Matheus Diniz Highlight Matheus Oliveira Diniz is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Marcelo Garcia. He is an ADCC champion. He has also done very well in many IBJJF competitions. Matheus Diniz is known for his aggressive guard passing and effective takedowns.He is associated with team Alliance. Richie Boogeyman Martinez Highlight Richie Martinez "Boogeyman" is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Eddie Bravo. Richie Martinez not only competes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), but he also competes in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and Combat Jiu Jitsu (CJJ). In addition to this, the Boogeyman is an instructor as well along with his brother Geo Martinez (AKA the "Freak Brothers"). The Boogeyman is a name that was carried over from Richies breakdancing days. You can also usually see Richie display some of his breakdancing moves often right after he submitts his opponent. The Boogeyman, representing Eddie Bravo and 10th plannet, is known for his rubber guard, gogo platas, omoplatas, and sick darces and Japanes Neckties. Since Richie and the 10th planet freaks have a freaky style and fit perfectly for a Halloween video, I tried to use music with a slightly spooky vibe that I hope will be appreciated throughout the video. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed putting it together! Oliver Taza Highlight Oliver Taza originally reached his purple belt under Firas Zahabi at the Tri-Star gym in Qubec Canada. Interestingly, Oliver was born in Lebanon and lived in Saudi Arabia for 13 years. While training in grappling at the Tri-Star gym he was lucky enough to meet some of the members of the Danaher Death Squad. He says that Gordon was nice enough to invited him to train at the Renzo Gracie Academy in New York. Oliver is known for having a dynamic style combining leg locks, guillotines, darces, and back takes. In this video you will see Oliver attack the legs and switch to a guillotine grip to pass the guard. You will also see Oliver going into the Inside Sankaku position and abandoning it for a back take. I also noticed him attack a darce and abandon it for a backtake as well (08:35). Watching him compete has given me a few ideas, personally, and I hope it motivates or inspires you as well!
