Five Islands Nova Scotia + Parrsboro | Best Eats on the Bay of Fundy

A Nova Scotia road trip featuring Five Islands and Parrsboro, discover the "other side" of the Bay of Fundy. Five Islands Provincial Park is a great way to spend the day and one of the most beautiful places to travel in Nova Scotia and yet so few locals know it. Located on the Minas Basin (Bay of Fundy) it's only two hours from Halifax Nova Scotia. But you need a day to really explore this area. Start in Economy, then head to Five Islands. And we stayed overnight in Parrsboro, which is much more enjoyable. When you go make sure you check the tide times. Thankfully we arrived at low tide so we were able to walk the beach. We ate lobster rolls and some of the best fish and chips in Nova Scotia. Don't rush through this region in Canada.
