Curry Leaves Fried Prawns Recipe: Curry Leaf Powder: Oil - 1 tsp Cumin Seeds - ½ tsp Black Peppercorns - 1 tsp Split Urad Dal - 1 tsp Chana Dal - 1 tsp Red Chilli - 2 nos Curry Leaves - ¾ Cup Salt - ¼ tsp To Deepfry Prawns: Prawns - 250 grams Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tsp Salt - ¼ tsp Lemon Juice - 2 tsp Maida - 1 tbsp Cooking Instructions: 1. In a pan, add oil, once the oil is hot add cumin seeds, black peppercorns, split urad dal, chana dal, dried red chilli and curry leaves. Saute this on low heat for 4 mins 2. Remove from the heat, allow it to cool. Once the ingredients have cooled down, grind into a fine powder using a mixer grinder. 3. Take prawns in a bowl, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and lemon juice. Mix well. 4. Add Maida to bind everything together. Mix well and keep aside. Heat oil in a deep frying pan, once the oil is hot, add the prawns and deep fry for 2 mins. 5. Take the fried prawns in a mixing bowl, sprinkle the required quantity of curry leaf powder on top of the prawns. Toss to mix well. 6. Serve hot as an appetizer.
