7/6/2024 Level: 300 cfs release, 3ft+ on the footer gauge Paddlers: James Malek, Tristan Rush, Pete Rush, Jon Miller The WFT is probably one of my favorite runs ive done yet. It resembles the creeks ive done in WV (Daugherty/ Meadow run) heavily at medium-high flows, but has its own style of whitewater with bigger drops, bigger boofs, and bigger holes. The run starts beneath a massive waterfall (high falls) which is absolutely breathtaking, especially seeing the water turn on beneath it. Flight simulator is another massive waterfall drop on the WFT, which is just such a treat to run. I made the video pretty long because I truly enjoyed this river and want viewers to be able to get the feel of this fantastic run. Enjoy!
