As a note, after I uploaded the video I decided to add a layer of foil bubble wrap to the van as a reflective or radiant layer, it will not help with the insulation but for the minimal extra cost to do this I didn't want to wish at a later stage that I had added it. and if nothing else it will add an extra vapour barrier layer.
