VW Crafter DIY Camper Van Conversion. In this episode I install two water tanks under my van, a 70 ltr fresh water, and a 56 ltr grey water, an easy if somewhat awkward install, I used the brackets and J bolts supplied with the tanks however as the van is an xlwb I had to hang the fresh tank further forward than the usual install which meant I had to purchase two 30 cm J bolts for one side of the tank, I added No 10 Nylock nuts to all of of the J bolts as extra security, the sealant/adhesive I used on the grey water tank was Sikaflex EBT + which is flexible, waterproof and weatherproof. As an update I removed the screws I used for the access hatch and filled the holes with Sikaflex as they were causing leaks. The level indicators used came as part of the Sargent Control unit I used for the electrics.
