Hi everyone! Thanks for watching! This video contains three high-protein, fairly easy, vegan snack ideas and recipes! I hope you enjoy the video and that this gives you some ideas on vegan snacks you can enjoy, with lots of protein and overall good nutrition! I’ve also linked the original recipes that gave me the initial inspiration to make these (with some tweaks of my own). The recipes and nutrition for each recipe is below: --- Greek-style protein vegan yogurt Ingredients: - ½ block extra firm tofu - 1 cup frozen fruit (I used strawberries and bananas) - 2.5 tbsp of protein powder - 4 tbsp lemon juice Recipe: 1) Add all the ingredients in a blender 2) Blend 3) Eat! Nutrition: Calories: 324 Carbs: 25.7 g Fat: 11.9 g Protein: 31.1 g Original recipe that inspired me: https://www.okonomikitchen.com/easy-2... --- Edamame Lentil Salad with Miso-Lime Dressing Ingredients (makes four servings): - 2 cups cooked green lentils - 2 cups steamed edamame - 2 tbsp hemp seeds - 1 cup diced cucumber - 1.5 cup diced red onion - Chopped cilantro Dressing ingredients: - 2 tbsp white miso paste - 4 tbsp lime juice - 4 tbsp rice vinegar - 2 tbsp soy sauce Recipe: 1) Cook lentils 2) Steam edamame 3) Chop veggies 4) Add all salad ingredients into bowl and mix around 5) Make the dressing by adding all dressing ingredients and mixing 6) Store salad and dressing separate until you’re ready to eat! Portion out as needed! Nutrition (for one serving): Calories: 274 Carbs: 39 g Fat: 9.1 g Protein: 21.6 g Original recipe that inspired me: https://www.theplantbaseddad.com/edam... --- Buffalo Tofu Fries Ingredients (makes four servings): - Two blocks of pressed and sliced extra firm tofu Wet batter: - 2 tbsp lemon juice - 3/8 cup plant-based milk - ½ cup corn starch - 1 tsp salt - 1 tbsp hot sauce Dry mix: - 1.5 cup bread crumbs - ¼ cup nutritional yeast - 1 tbsp garlic powder Buffalo hot sauce: - 1 cup hot sauce - ¼ cup plant-based milk - ¼ cup nutritional yeast Recipe: 1) Press and slice tofu into strips 2) Add all wet batter ingredients into bowl and mix 3) Add all dry mix ingredients into bowl and mix 4) Create a station where you dunk the tofu into the wet batter, then into the dry mix, then place on baking tray or air fryer tray 5) Once all tofu is covered in wet and dry batter and mix, put into air fryer at 360F or oven at 400F and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through 6) Let tofu fries cool for 5 minutes 7) Make vegan buffalo sauce (add all ingredients into pot and let simmer, mix) 8) Toss the buffalo sauce and tofu fries 9) Enjoy!
