But once I tried them out, I was very impressed with the suction cup grip on smooth non-porous surfaces. If you are shooting makeup tutorials this will stick to your mirror, If you are shooting automotive videos, this is the perfect way to mount a lightweight camera to the hood, side, or window. I've been finding lots of flat surfaces around now that I'm actively looking for them, and I'm starting to think of it as a suction cup mount that also offers wrap-around features. It does wrap around poles, knobs, struts, etc and holds its shape very well. The metal inside the over-molded silicon takes a good amount of force to position, and says put after you twist it around something. So at this price point, I've found it to be a very functional sticky/grippy/wrap-around camera mount and recommend it.
