"Expanse" — Merlin's Trance Pulse — Craig Pruess

"Expanse" — Merlin's Trance Pulse, by Craig Pruess is a new type of medicinal music. You can lie down, with eyes closed, and let the deep bass frequencies and pulsations transport you, or you can bounce on a trampoline in sync with the propulsive rhythm. This is not binaural beat music! Many people are reporting that their chakras open and cleansing is happening from this music. Although there is an exact science behind the its creation, there are elements of melody and variations in the rhythm that keep the mind engaged, albeit in a trance state. This piece of music was especially composed under the influence of Bubble Tech orgone accumulators, manifesting the expansive, trance-like qualities of its frequencies. For the tempo, I chose the 11th harmonic equivalent of the 33 Hz frequency. The double time pulse (232.75 beats per minute) creates a powerful entrainment effect on the brain for activation of both inner silence, but also euphoria and euphoric dancing. The scale used is the perfect temperament, which mirrors the natural overtone scale, with the third and seventh in the scale slightly flatter (but much sweeter) than the artificial equal temperament of modern keyboards. Lastly, ancient Indian ragas are used, with the haunting sound of the ancient Indian bamboo flute, the BANSURI, and the Indian bowed string instrument, the SARANGI. Indian ragas, as preserved through the multi-generational tradition of Indian classical musicians, always use the perfect temperament with great precision, and are considered "the music of nature", as their melodies align for the times of the day or night.
