I am seventy years old and this my eighth Camino but my first Camino Frances. You ask why? then come with me in this journey to find out why I broke so many barriers and discover that the Camino Frances is effectively three different Caminos- the Pyrenees and la Rioja to Burgos, la Meseta to Leon and finally over the mountains into Galicia to Santiago de Compostela. I was born in Spain but my family migrated to Australia in 1962 and I do Caminos to reconnect with my country of birth. I have done seven Caminos in the past, the Norte, Primitivo, Lebaniego, Vadiniense, Salvador, Portugues and Muxia Finisterre but this is my first Camino Frances. I am a bushwalker hiker in Australia and I have uploaded more than 160 videos in YouTube and 90% of my hikes are totally off track, no trails.
