I am an off track hiker in Australia that does hikes that are very hard to get into and as the one I did in late January 2024 very hard to get out off and as I tried to climb out of a gorge I dislocated my shoulder leaving me holding on to the cliff face for dear life until my companions tied a rope around my waist and hauled me up to the tops. That near death experience left me with a dislocated shoulder that was in a sling for three weeks in February leaving some five weeks of physio and recovery before embarking on what I had planned. I could only carry a small day pack as my shoulder wasn't sufficiently strong enough to carry a normal pack and I had to rely on sending it by courier on a daily basis, furthermore the shoulder would erupt every fifty minutes with a sharp pain that would stop me from continuing on unless I rested making my plans an impossible journey. So come and share my journey and see the struggles then the daily improvements to complete not four Caminos as planned but five Caminos all the entries into Santiago de Compostela I would like to express my thanks to great Camino friends that have contributed to this video Rob the cheeky Scotsman ‪@robmaco‬ for all drone footage, so if interested check out his channel and Jardar Johansen a Norwegian singer with an amazing voice. Finally this video is dedicated to a young strong German Sebastian that I like to call friend who stayed in the same Albergue as me in SJPDP and who unfortunately had to go back to Germany because of the terrible blisters that he had on the soles of his feet, Logrono was his final day of this Camino but not his last and one day I hope to meet him again in some other Camino Background music used under licence from Uppbeat.com
