Os voy a explicar cómo se comprueba y se repara una vitrocerámica a la que no le funciona un fuego: 1º Desatornillamos los tornillos de la parte posterior de la vitrocerámica para poder sacar la tapa. 2º Con el fuego que no funciona encendido, comprobamos con un polímetro si llega corriente a los terminales de la resistencia. Si llega corriente el fallo está en el termostato o la resistencia, por el contrario, si no llega, el problema lo tendríamos en la placa de control. 3º Después de desconectar la vitrocerámica de la corriente eléctrica, desconectamos los terminales de la resistencia. Con un polímetro comprobamos la resistencia (Ω) del termostato y la resistencia (estando bien tendría que dar un valor entre 30 y 100 Ω). 4º Para sacar la resistencia tendremos que destornillar los tornillos que la sujetan. 5º En mi caso tenía el filamento de la resistencia quemado que se ve a simple vista (en la mayoría de ocasiones es difícil de encontrar el lugar exacto donde está roto el filamento). En el caso de que fuera el termostato el que estuviera estropeado, también tendríamos que cambiar la resistencia completa ya que no se suministran por separado. 6º Colocamos la nueva resistencia asegurándonos que vaya en la misma posición. La sujetamos con los tornillos y conectamos los terminales. 7º Colocamos la tapa posterior de la vitrocerámica y comprobamos su funcionamiento.
