Most approaches to climate change education and communication focus on the science behind climate change and its solutions. However, a growing body of multidisciplinary research is finding that knowledge of climate change is insufficient on its own to spur climate action. Rather, climate communication should link with the language and priorities of various audiences to spur the scope of collective action needed to address the climate crisis.
