Road to the PPL (Flight 7) - ATC at EBCI and steep turns above the lakes (Sonaca 200 | OO-NCC)

See description below (with timestamps). Weather: METAR EBCI 120850Z 11007KT 080V140 CAVOK 18/12 Q1006 NOSIG METAR EBCI 120920Z 11006KT CAVOK 18/13 Q1006 NOSIG METAR EBCI 120950Z 17005KT 130V210 9999 FEW025 20/14 Q1006 NOSIG After three months of no flying due to Covid-19, I was finally back at EBCI (Charleroi) for the 7th flight of my PPL training. This time I managed to record the radio audio too, so the video is longer than usual, because I left in parts which are interesting only for the dialogue, and not for the flying - since this is also an important (and interesting) part of the training. I also left parts in where I make mistakes, because this is how you learn during the training. Unfortunately something was not OK with the external power, so the GoPro was using its own battery, and after that ran out of juice the recording died after ~1 hour, so I don't have footage of the (very good) approach and the (pretty bad) landing back to EBCI... Besides a general repetition of flying skills, we covered mainly steep turns (45 degree and 60 degree) during this training. Some extra comments are given below with the timestamps. 00:00 Listening to EBCI ATIS 01:45 Before taxi flow 03:58 (Before) take-off briefing 05:54 Radio communication with EBCI Ground (even though I accidentally say "Tower"...) 06:51 Taxi to S1, and a simultaneous before taxi checklist (better late than never) 08:24 Engine run-up (following the checklist) 12:18 Reporting ready for departure to EBCI Ground, then communication with EBCI Tower 12:50 Line up RWY 06 (should have put Transponder to ALT, this we forgot and got reminded for it later by ATC...) 13:11 Cleared for take-off (should have put landing lights on, but I was way too busy with lining up, replying to the Tower - shown by the small mistake of starting the read-back with our call-sign - , then initiating a rolling take-off... I noticed this later when I wanted to turn off said lights as part of the after-take-off flow...) 13:23 Take-off (nervous correction after rotation, the comment from the instructor really helped making a mental note of that and I concentrated on not doing that on the next flight) 14:19 After take-off flow (notice me moving my hand onto the switch of the landing lights wanting to turn them off and realizing that we had forgotten turning them on earlier...) 14:51 Slow flight exercise (clean configuration) with very informative audio from the instructor 16:35 Clean stall exercise number 1 (too forced recovery) 19:11 Clean stall exercise number 2 (nice recovery) 20:29 Steep turns demonstration 21:37 45 degree steep turns (several in sequence, with educative comments) 26:28 One 60 degree steep turn to end the session :)
