Ajodhya Pahar Tour Plan, Ajodhya Pahar Ajodhya Hills ( অযোধ্যা পাহাড় ), is a small plateau with hilly surroundings located in the Purulia district of the state West Bengal, India. It is the easternmost part of the Chhotanagpur Plateau and the part of Dalma hills and and extended part of Eastern Ghats range. Highest peak of Ajodhya Hill is Chamtuburu (720 m).The nearby populated town area is Bagmundi. Ajodhya Hill, It is a popular place for tourists and young mountaineers to learn the basic course in rock climbing. There are three routes available to reach Ajodhya Hills. Via Jhalda, via Sirkabad and via Baghmundi. Below is my 3 days 3 nights Ayodhya Hills travel plan for your convenience. ************************************************************************************** We started our journey from Howrah station. Chakradharpur Express from Howrah Station leaves at 12:05 PM and reaches Barabhum Station at 7:12 AM the next day. . First day ********** Our Purulia Ayodhya Pahar tour starts from Varabhum station. Our car was booked, the car came to pick us up, first we had breakfast, then before going to the hotel, we visited Pakhi Pahar and Matha Pahar, then we came to the hotel, had a bath and had lunch, after some rest we went out to see Khairabera Dam .And after completing the first day's tour of Charida Mask village, we returned to our hotel. Second day ************** Second day morning we went out after breakfast, first went to Turaga Falls then Bamni Falls, Marble Lake, then we went through jungle path to Murguma View Point, we saw amazing view of Murguma View Point, from there we came back to Ajodhya hill top, had lunch and that's it. Later I visited Durga Temple, Sita Kunda, Ram Temple, Mayur Pahar Temple, Upper Dam, Lower Dam, and Lahoria Shiva Temple, after visiting Lahoria Shiva Temple, I returned to the hotel. Third day ********** To day we will go back to Kolkata, after breakfast in the morning we left the hotel for the purpose of Purulia station, we took the Ayodhya Apahar hill top and came to Purulia station via Shirkabad, when we arrived we saw the Ayodhya hill curved dahar, arrived at Purulia and had lunch, three to five minutes to Purulia in the afternoon. We went back to Calcutta by express. Rupsi Bangla Express leaves Purulia station at 3:25 pm and reaches Howrah station at 9:15 pm. If you have one more day in your hand, then visit Jaychandi Pahar, Baranti Lake, Panchet Dam and Gar Panchkot from Purulia, in that case you will have to stay one more day in Purulia. There are many hotels to stay in Purulia. The room rent of the hotel ( Ajodhya Hill View Lodge ) we stayed in was between Rs.900 to rs.1500 the room we stayed in was Rs.1200 , our three-day car rental was Rs. 6000.
