Torquay and the Coves to Dawlish Cycle Ride (Dartmoor to Dawlish Day 2)

An idyllic cycle ride along the Devon coast from Torquay to Beacon Cove, Meadfoot Beach, Anstey's Cove, over the Teignmouth and Sheldon Bridge ending in Dawlish. I wanted to visit Dawlish for quite a while as part of a cycle ride and combining the Dartmoor cycle ride for a two day trip ended in one of my most memorable and possibly a favourite cycle ride for all the rides I've done to date. Starting the next morning I take a ride down to the Torquay promenade. I was gifted with both blue skies and also a calm blue sea with gentle clear waves lapping on the sand. I decided to find a simple breakfast that I could take to a bench over looking the sea. The problem was, I really didn't want to leave. I could have stayed all morning on that bench watching the sea and people watching and may be explore the town during the day time. While I seriously considered staying and grabbing an extra train ticket from Torquay or Torre railway station I decided to press on. I didn't want to loose the opportunity to visit a couple of the coves along the coast and of course visit Dawlish and it's sea side railway line famous for stormy waves crashing over express trains. I was blessed on the train home with a sunset along Devon and into Somerset that seemed to just last forever. I sat there with my headphones on listening to music and just watching the sun disappear behind the hills wizzing by and then to see the sun set once again when the land dropped away. Both days were examples of where nearly everything worked out and became what I imagined they could be. Contains the brand new song "The Nicest Shade of Orange".
