A little afternoon out & about on the trains left me with some time to kill at Preston station so I decided to do a little filming. Now quite a lot of disruption around on this day, particularly to services heading to Scotland. In a nutshell they could only go as far as Carlisle due to flooding further north. So with that being the case a lot of Avanti services were terminating at Preston and returning south. While only a few continued to Carlisle. As well as this, booked engineering works in the Manchester area meant there were no services to Manchester Airport via Piccadilly. INCLUDED: Avanti West Coast Class 390 Pendolinos, Northern Rail 319's, 156's, 331's & 195's, TransPennine Express 397 & DB Schenker 66130.
