Back at Preston on the West Coast Mainline on a cloudy but sunny morning mainly to capture not one but two classic electrics with one of them being LSL’s Class 87 in INTERCITY Shallow livery hauling the Mk3 set under the same coat operating ‘The Clansman’ rail tour from London Euston to Inverness via Mossend where it changed to Class 47’s. See both of these classics in a separate video I’ve made. There is of course the standard passenger intercity and commuter services with the likes of Avanti and Northern including the odd freight.
