Scotland Landscape Photography (Sutherland Exposure - Part 1)

Join me on a Scotland Photography Road trip as I explore the area of Sutherland in the far North. In this video, I take a drive through the area of Sutherland along the North Coast 500 road up to Durness. Moody weather descended from the west, bringing thick grey clouds and rain, making it a challenging day for photography, but also offers the chance for some atmospheric photos. Just east of Durness is Smoo Cave, a natural sea cave with an entrance 50 feet high, 130 feet wide, and 200 feet long. During my first week in Scotland I'm based at Lochinver, in the area of Assynt, a geologist's paradise (the North West Highlands Geopark covering an area of around 2,000 square kilometres, contains some of the oldest rocks in Europe, dating as far back as 3,000 million years).
