Scotland Landscape Photography (Sutherland Exposure - Part 2)

Join me on a Scotland Photography Road trip as I explore the Highland Wilderness. In this video, I take a drive through the areas of Sutherland and Assynt along the North Coast 500 road. I stop by Loch Stack, nestled between mountains on either side, then journey onto River Laxford before stopping off for a quick stroll at Little Assynt. It was a windy day, so hand-held photography with my 100-500mm lens came into play. There was plenty of light that helped keep the shutter speed high, but erring on the side of caution, I opted for ISO 400, combined with IBIS and lens stabilisation to ensure all the photos were sharp. 00:00 - Prologue: Sutherland 03:24 - Loch Stack 07:22 - River Laxford 12:06 - Epilogue: Little Assynt During my first week in Scotland I'm based at Lochinver, in the area of Assynt, a geologist's paradise (the North West Highlands Geopark covering an area of around 2,000 square kilometres, contains some of the oldest rocks in Europe, dating as far back as 3,000 million years).
