For a change, this is not an arrangement of a Jun Senoue track. This is an arrangement of the Sonic 2 boss theme, using heavily modified patches and presets that emulate Masaru Setsumaru's style in Sonic 3 & Knuckles. While Setsumaru and Nakamura may seem like an odd pair, it's worth noting that Setsumaru was one of the sound programmers for Sonic 2 (under the pseudonym Bassanova Oyz) and it's likely he originally arranged this theme based on stylisic similarities I noticed with some S3K tracks he arranged. Alongside this, I've also uploaded a Cube-Corp styled arrangement of this track in the same vein as this. Differences from the original track- The instrumentation is completely different The lead now has an echo effect similar to the one used by Setsumaru in tracks like Sky Sanctuary The noise channel uses PSG macros from S3K rather than S2 The high-octave lead that starts playing halfway through the song was shifted to PSG 1 to accommodate the echo channel You may use my music in your videos, just make sure to credit me.
