Sonic 4: Episode 2- Metal Sonic Boss 1 (Genesis arrangement) ft.

Here's something I've been putting off for a long time- a Genesis arrangement of Sonic 4: Episode 2's first Metal Sonic boss theme, with help from soupOOT who helped me transcribe the more difficult-to-hear parts of the song and overall iron out the kinks in the arrangement. Considering the electronic instrumentation of the original, I decided to go all Setsumaru on the instrumentation and even modified a few patches, since techno-style arrangements seemed to be his thing. Soup's implementation of the Setsumaru PSGs and noise (as heard in Sonic & Knuckles tracks such as Knuckles' theme, the title screen theme, etc.) further amplifies this. The menacing nature of the composition reminded me heavily of the second boss theme from Sonic 3D Blast, so I took most of the instruments from there.
