The Beatles - Day Tripper (Stereo Remix)

As many Beatles fans know, their early stereo mixes can be really hit or miss. Some song and albums, such as Beatles for Sale and the original Help, can sound fantastic. While others, such as Rubber Soul and of course Day Tripper have hard-panned vocals and instrumentals. This is my attempt to fix at least one of those tracks. Day Tripper is mixed quite well, with double-tracked guitar on both sides, bass, drums and acoustic left, and a tambourine mixed right. The biggest issues is the vocals, which are also mixed right. Using vocal removing software, as well as my own touch ups, I moved the vocals from the right to the center, with minimal trace of the original vocals. While the 2015 remix of this song does something similar, there's a very clear trace of the original vocal on the right, which mine does not have. I also used the 1988 remaster as my basis, instead of the 2009, giving the song a cleaner sound. The only issue is the 1988 has the guitar dropouts, found towards the end of the song. I have corrected those myself, using the fixes from the 2009 and patching them in with minimal issue. Please go listen to the original mixes! While they might not be the best, it supports the people who are still keeping The Beatles alive and well! I do not want to replace their work, so please go support them!
