Sri Sathya Sai Students (Alumni of Sri Sathya Sai Educational Institutions) are organizing an evening program entitled “SAMARPAN” on the 4th Sunday of every month at Sivam, Hyderabad. It is about re-living those moments spent with HIM, re-connecting with HIM and soaking in the Divine presence. We have an opportunity to listen to the Leelas of the Lord from the devotees who were blessed with Divine association through “SAMARPAN” The #128 SAMARPAN is being held at SIVAM on the evening of 26th November 2023. We are truly blessed to have in the "Dhanya Jeevulu" series, Dr. Sivarama Krishna Prasad Kanukolanu as the speaker for the day. Dr. Sivarama Krishna Prasad Kanukolanu was born in 1952 in Narsapur, West Godavari district. He has been an eye surgeon for the last 42 years. He obtained M.B.B.S degree and diploma in Opthalmology from Andhra Medical college, Visakhapatnam. He practiced as an eye surgoen for 13 years at Suguna Nursing Home in Narsapur, which was named after his mother. Later he joined Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences (SSSIHMS), Prasanthi Nilayam, and served there for 18 years where he had the unique opportunity to operate on thousands of patients of all ages. Dr. Sivarama Krishna Prasad Kanukolanu currently works at a charitable hospital in Bengaluru and is also a visiting surgeon at SSSIHMS, Whitefield. He was also in-charge of the seva wing of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi at Narsapur. With the active participation of Sai devotees from West and East Godavari districts, they could celebrate Sri Sathya Sai Koti Namaarchana at Narsapur. Swami had blessed him thrice to translate HIS discourses. His wife, Mrs Lakshmi Parasad also served in the PRO section of SSSIHMS, Prasanthi Nilayam. She was an active Balvikas teacher both at Narsapur and at prasanthi Nilayam and was blessed by Swami twice in this role. During a personal interview, Swami told him, "You should not have ups and downs, bumps and jumps in your thoughts. I am there to guide."
