Two of Disney’s loveliest European mammals, Duchess from The AristoCats (1970) and Miss Bianca from The Rescuers (1977) have a lot in common. Both are kind, loyal and very devoted to protecting children; Dutchess to her own brood of three, Bianca to Penny and other youngsters helped by the rescue aid society. Though Dutchess is a cat and Bianca a mouse they look a like with sweet moon faces and lustrous white fur. They are vain about their looks and very attractive to the opposite sex but are both kind-hearted, quality characters. Here is Duchess, the French cat … and Miss Bianca, the Hungarian mouse… Both creatures were brought to life by the voice of Hungarian actress and Hollywood royalty, Eva Gabor.
