Welcome to Bonita's Kitchen! Today we will be making BUBBLY FISH BAKE, made with atlantic codfish, cheese, stale bread crumbs and so much more. See recipe below! To view & download the full recipe, please view it here on our website: https://www.bonitaskitchen.com Our cookbooks link: https://www.bonitaskitchen.com/cookbook #codfish #newfoundland #dinner Ingredients: Recipe: 1 pound fish, cod or white fish 1 can cream of mushroom soup 2 tbsp chopped onion, or full onion chopped 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 cup grated or shredded cheese, or more 3 tbsp milk 1 cup bread crumbs or crushed soda crackers Sea salt and pepper to taste 10 minutes prep-time, 20 minutes bake time, serves 4 people Method: Peel and chop onion and grate stale bread crumbs. In greased casserole dish, add uncooked, boneless and skinless fish, season fish on both sides with salt, pepper and onion powder. In a bowl add cream of mushroom soup, onion, lemon juice and milk, mix well together then pour over fish then top with grated cheese of choice and bread crumbs or crushed soda crackers. Season stale bread crumbs with sea salt, pepper and onion powder. Pre-heat oven to 450ºF and set timer to 20 minutes, bake until bubbly, golden brown and baked.
