We have been on board and in the cockpit of the last departing plane from the closing Berlin Tegel Airport. Flight captain Christophe Ruch and co-pilot Jean-Louis Leidner have the honor of taking their A320 around the airport terminal building for an entire lap of honor and receiving a water salute as a ceremonial farewell.
