The NHS is facing legal action from female nurses, who claim they are being forced to share a changing room with a transgender colleague. It is thought that 26 women have already complained that the colleague who has not had gender reassignment surgery, is allowed to share their female changing room, and is also said to have a "keen interest in female staff". Broadcaster Clare Muldoon questions why all this is coming out now. She says: "A few years ago I was a member of some gyms and there was NONE of this… There were NO men in women's changing areas." Dr David Bull thinks that it can be argued that now there is more transparency and people feel that they can be more openly trans.
