Ingredients For cooking 1 Mackerel Fish (cleaned) ½ Tomato (cut into wedges) ½ stick Lemon Grass 2 pieces dried Tamarind (soaked) For Sauce (Blended) 6-8 dried chilies (soaked) ½ medium Onion ½ cm Galangal / Ginger 1 cm Turmeric 1 stick Lemon grass 2-3 Candlenuts 2-3 cloves Garlic Others Sugar, Salt to taste Preparation Blend all ingredients for sauce with some water into a paste Heat some vegetable oil and fry blended ingredients until fragrant. Add 1 cup water, then add the Lemon Grass and Tamarind slices. Bring to the boil. Add Fish and cook for a few minutes on both sides. Add tomato and cook slightly to soften the tomato. Let the fish rest for 20 minutes before serving Enjoy with rice!
