A Haunting in Venice (2023) is the 3rd feature film based on Agatha Christie’s popular Detective Poirot series. Detective Poirot (Kenneth Branagh) is enjoying his retirement in the city of Venice. Avoiding admirers and those seeking to pull him back into the chase. At his side is Vitale (Riccardo Scamarcio) his loyal bodyguard. One day long time friend and popular author Ariadne (Tina Fey) shows up with an interesting challenge for Hercule. Famed psychic Joyce Reynolds (Michelle Yeoh) has been invited to conduct a seance at the home of reclusive singer Rowena (Kelly Reilly). Ariadne invites Hercule to attend the party to expose Joyce as a fraud. The evening takes a dark turn when, in the quiet of the witching hour Joyce is murdered, and an attempt is made on Hercule’s life. What follows is Hercule’s experience with the supernatural, his abilities and practical outlook tested to their limits as a storm rages outside.
