For all my fellow movie lovers out there, a review of Orphan: First Kill (2022) starring Julia Stiles as Tricia the grieving wife and mother, Rossif Sutherland as her husband and Isabelle Fuhrman reprising her role. The story begins on a winding road heading out of town and into the country to visit the Saarnes Institute where Lena is a current resident. An unexpected visitor provides an opportunity for her to escape and adopt a new identity as Esther, the little American girl who went missing. Soon after traveling to the States to meet up with her “family” including her older brother Gunner (Matthew Finlan) Esther finds herself at odds with Tricia. Her presence reveals deep secrets and with a local detective Donnan (Hiro Kanagawa) questioning her reappearance, Esther is forced to maintain her role.
