Cutting a couple Sugar Pine in the Chico / Redding area of Northern California. The timber falling is definitely different in the inland regions versus the coastal regions. The ground tends to be more open ( less brushy) and the trees are single species trees. It's easier to deal with single species trees versus the Redwood clumps of the coast. Both places have there pros... and cons... ( Inland versus Costal).. I'm enjoying cutting in a new area and seeing all the new sights ....
