Shot on 11 September 2024 Air Tahiti Nui flight 8. Back in September to kick off my trip to France, I chose to get there on a very unique airline, Air Tahiti Nui, an airline I never thought I'd ever have a chance to fly on. For a long time I've thought that Air Tahiti Nui has the most beautiful livery in the world which prompted me to want to fly with them. The hard and soft products didn't disappoint. Their IFE was surprisingly good, with a modern interactive flight map and a good selection of movies and TV shows that kept me entertained. The seat was also reasonably soft and comfortable considering that this was a 10 hour flight. The food was also a lot better than expected. Dinner was a tasty beef and potato dish with red wine served about 90 minutes after takeoff. Breakfast was served around an hour before landing and consisted of a waffle, fresh fruit, and some rather good coffee. The flight itself was enjoyable too. The flight was pretty smooth throughout. There were amazing views while flying over the western US and seeing the sunrise at 38,000 feet is always a treat. All said, this was a great flight and airline. I'm very lucky to have had the opportunity to fly with them and would again. If you're looking for a fun and unique way to get to Europe I would definitely recommend giving Air Tahiti Nui a try.
