United 777-300ER Landing at Honolulu (HNL)

Shot on 23 February 2023, United Airlines flight 1175. To begin my incredible trip to the Hawaiian Islands, I chose to fly on United's flagship 777-300ER to Honolulu. While the seat was definitely full blown Polaris seat the food service was simply the "United First" level catering. That being said, the food was decent but nothing special, however my glass was full of champagne for the entire flight. The flight attendants were constantly making sure I was comfortable and in addition, the captain had this fun "halfway to Hawaii" game he had us play midway through the flight. This fun and laid back kind of atmosphere was present from gate to gate so hats off to the flight crew! The flight itself was incredibly smooth too. Except for a few minor bumps here and there the nearly 5 hour flight was glassy smooth all the way to Honolulu. As we begin the approach into Honolulu we actually ended up descending into the clouds that were unfortunately hanging right over and around the airport. I was a little upset there was no blue bird sky, but it was an incredible approach and landing nonetheless. It's always fun being able to fly up front in a premium cabin especially with epic wing/engine views and an incredible vacation waiting for you once the flight is over.
