Today we're going to take a look at the Kodiak XL pro lube oil bath hub body and cap for 2.44" diameter hubs. Now this part will replace the body and cap for the Kodiak XL pro lube oil bath hubs. It has a nice clear blue poly carbonate cap you can see here that gives you quick visual oil check. It does have a rubber plug. You just unscrew it from the body here. The cap has a nice rubber plug right in the middle here. This is going to allow you to add oil to the hub. You can just pop that off and put the oil in, and put the plug back in. It does have a rubber o ring around the threads here on the cap that gives you water tight seal when you thread it back into your hub body. Now the body is an anodized aluminum body construction. Gives you nice corrosion resistance. This is designed to fit the 2.44" diameter hubs which are usually the 5,200 pound to 6,000 pound axles. This part does include the one body and the cap. Now, the oil seals that need to be used when you use this, they are sold separately. They're not included, and we do usually list them on the product page as a related product.
