My son Alfie is autistic and doesn't sleep much at all. For years we tried EVERYTHING to get him to sleep (and let us snooze for more than a couple of hours) but nothing worked. We were exhausted, and offered no help from the doctors for a long, long time. In this video I share with you our experience as a family coping with endless sleepless nights and eventually being able to get liquid melatonin prescribed by Alfie's paediatrician. I discuss the melatonin that we use, Alfie's sleep pattern whilst taking it and the fact that we haven't experienced any side effects so far, (except my huge guilt!)
