A very enjoyable hour spent at Tilehurst station on the Great Western Mainline where we see plenty of services from Great Western Railway and Cross Country. Theres not really to much to say about this station in all honesty. It offers amazing views in both directions given its such close proximity to Reading, you'll find the River Thames runs just to the left of the main station building. The actual station itself was opened in 1882 when Tylehurst was itself a village before becoming a suburb of Reading, the station hasn't really changed all that much in its lifetime, the real only changes to take place were when the electrification was starting to take shape. On average your looking at half a million passengers per year using this station. My next station is going to be Reading.
