In this video, I go over my gold stacking strategy to move forward as I work towards stacking 10oz of gold coins in my personal gold stack. As I explain in the video, there is a good chance that I will increase this to a minimum of 20oz of gold coins soon though due to seeing gold bullion as a safe haven asset class to protect my wealth through the potentially tough times ahead. I am a huge fan of 1oz gold coins and definitely plan to add more of them to my gold stack but rather than just sticking to the gold Britannia coin, I want to add as much diversity in the design on the reverse of my 1oz gold coins as possible. Provided I stick to gold coins from the Royal Mint, I can keep my gold stack tax advantaged too so I am lucky that the Royal Mint release so many different gold coins with so many different designs on the reverse of the coin. When I comes to fractional gold coins, I do like half sovereign gold coins over full sovereign gold coins but the low premium of the full sovereign does make it a better mathematical option for stacking gold than 0.25oz gold coins. I really don't like the color of modern sovereigns though so I am actually leaning more towards going with the higher premium 0.25oz 9999 gold coins from the Royal Mint rather than full sovereigns once I complete my gold half sovereign stack. The premiums on 0.1oz gold coins are just too high to justify purchasing any more of them when the half sovereign is so close to the same size while being so much cheaper too. This is why the 0.1oz gold coin size doesn't really stick into my gold stacking strategy moving forward towards stacking 10oz to 20oz of gold within my overall precious metals stack.
