PLEASE READ to understand: (lyrics below) - This is my 800 subs thank you vid. :) Another fantastic, epic song by Within Temptation - and another hidden plot vid. Those who don't like the idea of a hidden story in PotO, please just watch, consider it AU & hopefully enjoy. :) Story follows lyrics, told in both POVs- E & C- Both wish the other to see beyond the surface to who they truly are: Erik, a king of the musical realm and a man beneath the mask/monster; Christine, his chosen queen, but also the bringer of light to his darkness. Red = Erik, Green = Christine, Gold = both (all royal colors of their musical kingdom). White light = the light/truth she brings. Blue light = their music, (who they are) Shower of stars (white/blue/gold/red/green)- the magical love they share for each other & their music...1 candle w/ Christine also shows her as a light. All effects/colors fit to tell story...Beginning shows darkness/the world out of focus/confusion, but their music (his & hers) brings clarity...frames go from dark to light to show she's gotten thru to him but sometimes go dark again when conflicts arise- between them or with those in power who oppose them. When she approaches sepulcher, her light struggles to be strong (why it flickers) in the face of the darkness she approaches. Both want to share a future & reign as rulers of music, their destiny, but Erik needs her to see him as he is and accept him- just as Christine needs Erik to see her for who she truly is. One who wants to bring him out of darkness & its lies & into the light/truth- to share their music with the world. Much more symbolism in clips/effects chosen, but no more room to write.
