Today we review the B524 release of Elijah Craig Barrel Proof!!! Heaven Hill had announced that starting with Batch B523 they would no longer be carrying the 12 year age statement on the 3x per year barrel proof releases. This was initially met with some blowback/concern that they were just looking to release younger, non-age stated bourbon but they are still releasing the age (this was 11 yrs & 2 mths) but some will even be older than 12! This was a great bottle and if the A124 had you thinking that they lost their touch...give this one a try!! Cheers!
