18 minutes of EPIC Whistler MTB - September 2024 (with music)

This was one of the last days of riding I had in Whistler this year, filmed in early September before heading back to Kamloops. Conditions were mint, bike felt awesome, and I was riding better than I have all year with some fantastic people as well. I'm so so lucky to call this place home, I feel eternally grateful to be able to ride as much as I do and in such an amazing place too! I can't say thank you enough to everyone I met, rode with, had a beer with, or even just crossed paths with! It's because of all these incredible people that I get to do what I do, and embrace the joy of mountain biking as part of my work every day. And of course, thank you to anyone and everyone who's watched one of these videos this year! There is more to come from Kamloops riding of course, but still- please sit back, relax, and enjoy this last Whistler vid with some of my favourite tunes for MTB alongside :) This is the 2nd video of this style I've done, no yapping and just biking with some vibey music on top, so again, please let me know what you think and if I should keep up w this style throughout the winter and into next season too! If only I had a wind cover for that damn camera mic haha Sorry for the long gap between uploads, been hard to find the motivation to record much around here being so windy and rainy this fall season. That being said, I've got a few new things in the works and (provided the weather gives me a few more good days) I should have a decent amount of content leading into the winter Ski season! I also found out recently that the video formatting I've been using (H.265) is actually terrible for action footage like MTB through nasty lighting because of how it compresses things, so this is the last video I have rendered using that and from here on out I'll be using H.264. Also also, my camera has 2 scratched lens covers so pretty much anything I've recorded recently looks a little funky, but I am considering getting an Insta360 X4 sometime soon, so possibly look forward to that!
