Little Smokies

BBQ lil carrots 1 lb baby carrots ½ cup vegetable broth ¼ cup low sodium tamari or soy sauce ¼ cup rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar 2 Tbsp maple syrup 1 ½ tsp liquid smoke ½ tsp smoked paprika ½ tsp garlic powder ½ tsp onion powder ½ cup BBQ sauce ½ cup grape jelly Mix broth, tamari, vinegar, maple syrup, liquid smoke and spices in a small bowl. Add the carrots to the electric pressure cooker and pour the marinade on top of them. Stir the marinade and carrots. Pul the pressure cooker on for 2 minutes and do a quick release. Drain the marinade from the carrots. Note: you can save the marinade for later use in the fridge or freezer. Put the carrots back in the pressure cooker. Mix the BBQ sauce and jelly in a small bowl then add to the carrots and stir. Now use the slow cooker for 60-90 minutes to finish cooking the carrots and get them saucy. Serve on any buffet line or enjoy as a side for a meal. BBQ weenies 14-16 oz pkg little weenies ½ cup BBQ sauce ½ cup grape jelly Mix the BBQ sauce and jelly in a small bowl and set aside. Add weenies to a crock pot and pour the sauce on them. Stir. Put the lid on and set you slow cooker on low for 60-90 minutes. Enjoy. Chili Recipe    • Its Football Season, Chili it is!
