The flute that Alex is playing was confiscated by Irish customs, when Alex had it sent from California. After a number of phone calls, e-mails and waiting he had it returned and we are glad it worked out! Not just that he could share some tunes for Gypsy Wagon TV, but we also enjoyed a lot of sessions in local pubs and at home together. Hailing from New Brunswick in Canada, an area with a great music tradition, Alex discovered his love for Irish traditional music and mainly for the flute some years ago. For us he is playing the Roscommon Reel followed by the Templehouse and Cooleys Reel. Should we dedicate this clip to the Irish customs?
