But when Finn picks up his precious instrument we hear the best story of all, the story woven out of music. We are so glad Finn found his way to Fintown and were able to listen to his stories. Often musicians look for special venues, a niche platform and this is what this tiny Vardo offers. It has a beautiful natural acoustic and music or showcase recordings are done low tech with no need for mics and amplifiers. This creates a natural sound and even if we record outside the wagon the acoustic carries strong and blends in with the natural surroundings of a woodland. But that's because fiddle music is very strong in this area of Donegal and some members of our family are also enthusiastic fiddle players. But we have also accommodated other instruments, even a double base or cello. So nothing is really impossible in this tiny space.
