The Friedenskircher Peace Chapell is a small chapel on the Stoderzinken in Styria in the Schladming-Dachstein region. Not only has it been a popular destination for decades - it has now been VOTED THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN AUSTRIA IN 2022. The Chapel was built in 1902 by Emil Ritter von Horstig. It can only be reached by foot - a beautiful, narrow path leads directly along the rocks to the chapel. It is a very popular place to take a short hike with the whole family. The startingpoint of the hike is the end of the alpine road, from which you can reach the chapel via a forest path through the mountain pine forest and past the Peter Rosegger monument along narrow paths.... directly along the rocks, in about 20 minutes. Along the entire path you can enjoy a wonderful panorama with a view of the Dachstein glacier but also of the wide valley basin of Gröbming, the village that lies at the foot of the Stoderzinken.
