The famous Friedenskircherl (Peace Church) was built in 1902 and is under historic preservation. It sticks to the rock like an eagle’s nest and adds to the perfect and stunning motif in a wide open mountain panorama view. This lookout point is actually reached easily, however to reach the starting point of this tour, you first have to go up the 12 kilometers curvy high alpine road. This ascent is already an experience and grants views from high above (try to not get dizzy from these views 😊). On the walk we pass a statue called the Peter Rosegger memorial that is situated in the midst of a huge rock and is unique at an altitude of more than 2,000 meters. This area is also the hotspot for many fun recreational activities - there are many action parks just like the biggest Zipline of Europe.
