Embuscade!, 1 Turn - Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope

Embuscade! completed in 1 turn. This is an improvement from the previous video, which completed the level in 2 turns. The general idea of a 1 turn victory has always been floating around, but there was no way to make anything work in practice due to Proto Mecha King Bob-omb's shield lasting through most of turn 1 and the fact he moves after every enemy. A recently discovered exploit changed everything. If an enemy is put to sleep with Rabbid Rosalina's Ennui and woken up later in the enemy turn, they will make their moves after every other enemy has moved. This allows us to reserve an enemy to activate Rabbid Mario's Counterblow. Characters: Rabbid Rosalina - Ennui pauses a Lone Wolf's turn until after the Bob-ombs move. Glitter lures the king to a tight area where he can't escape. Rabbid Luigi - Exhaust increases the damage Rabbid Mario deals to the King. The King's damage to the Lone Wolf decreases, allowing it to survive until the end. Starburst increases the damage of Counterblow. Rabbid Mario - Counterblow is used to deplete most of the king's health. Notes: -The level must be played on Relaxing so the king can have the lowest health possible. Invulnerability mode must be turned off so Rabbid Luigi and Rabbid Rosalina can get KO'd and allow Rabbid Mario's Payback ability to activate. -Due to the way enemy scaling works, enemy HP rises faster than the heroes' damage for every level up. This is why we play this battle at level 32 instead of level 40. We would have to use much more RNG to win at level 40. -Two Spark Energies are used in this battle. It doesn't take long to roll them, but the set up of the enemies can be frustratingly inconsistent. Sometimes the king doesn't get knocked back by the first Bob-omb or move close enough to take damage from the second Bob-omb. The Bob-ombs may not even move at all. I'm not sure why this happens. -The HP values of Rabbid Rosalina and Rabbid Luigi are deliberately set up from a previous battle. -Rabbid Rosalina and Rabbid Luigi are KO'd so the Lone Wolf doesn't choose to attack them instead of Rabbid Mario. Rabbid Luigi is defeated by the first Bob-omb so it doesn't attack Rabbid Mario and activate the POW Blocks prematurely. -In hindsight, Starburst can be given to Rabbid Rosalina so you have two chances to roll a Spark Energy. You would have to swap the general HP values and end positions of Rabbid Luigi and Rabbid Rosalina if you do it this way. -3 POW Blocks are used to deal damage after the king's shield goes down. They must be placed in a spot where they can do damage to the king while avoiding detonation by the first Bob-omb or the king himself. -Rabbid Rosalina moves to the unbreakable half cover block to prevent the Lone Wolf from moving there, creating an angle where Rabbid Mario can't hit the king with Counterblow. -Rabbid Luigi and Rabbid Mario block both exits of the area we trap the king in. The king is about a block wide, so we don't need precise placement to block him. However, enemies can move through POW Blocks. Also, Rabbid Mario must stand close enough to the king so the second Bob-omb can deal damage to the king. -Glitter uses RNG, but you can get consistent spots by having Rabbid Rosalina move as far right as she can so she snaps to the half cover instead of the full cover block. Ennui prevents the sleeping Lone Wolf from moving and the other can be removed with dash attacks. -Rabbid Mario needs Vampastra to deal enough damage to the king. While he has a 45% to crit, he may not need to. As long as he does ~8500 damage, it should work. -When Rabbid Luigi uses Exhaust, he must avoid the sleeping Lone Wolf. Hitting it with Exhaust means it will do less damage to Rabbid Mario, reducing Payback's damage boost.
