Mig-29 is a BETTER Real-Time 3D Flight Sim on Genesis!

Last week we looked at F-22 Interceptor ATF for the Sega Genesis and I said "it was probably the most advanced real-time 3D combat flight simulator on the 16-bit consoles" but turns out I had a better one in my collection all along! Mig-29 Fighter Pilot (1993) was developed by Domark and released two years after F-22 Interceptor ATF (1991) but is better in many ways. The graphics are better with more polygons on screen at a time and they move along at a higher frame rate. The controls feel more responsive and there are more advanced controls such as full throttle control, rudder control, faster weapon changes and thanks to 6-button controller support your defensive flare and chaff options are available at the push of a button rather than needing to go into menus. There is also no "scene changes" in the middle of a mission. You have a larger area to fly around and can land at multiple air-strips at any time during a mission to refuel, re-arm and repair damage. So is this the best real-time 3D combat flight simulator on the 16-bit consoles? Well, maybe! But there is an F-15 Strike Eagle II game on the Genesis that I don't have. Are there more??
