It Worked!!!!!! Peel and Stick Tile on Brick Fireplace

I am so excited to share this project. My husband and I decided to try peel and stick tile on a brick fireplace. I searched YouTube over and over and could not find a video where someone was using these tiles on a brick fireplace - mainly backsplash, etc.... We went to Lowes and purchased the Calacatta Marbella Peel and Stick tile. It covers 1 sq. ft. per piece and is $13.99 a piece. A box contains 15 pieces. We used about 1½ box(s) to complete our project (including mistakes). My husband used a Wet saw to cut the pieces of tile needed. We used grout to fill in any gaps and that is when we made a mess - the grout was everywhere as we did not prep (our fault) - but once my husband cleaned it up (which was tough) it was beautiful. When I tell you this looks like real marble on the fireplace - we truly love it. Lowes and other stores also have a great selection to choose from. We also used a high heat max spray paint for the inside of the fireplace (please note-we will not be using the fireplace - so please read the directions for how much heat can be used on the spray if you plan on using your fireplace) We are praying it does not get hot and fall off lol - we will keep you posted.
