In this video, I am sharing with you my version of the Yema Cake. Some people get confused with Yema and Caramel Cake. The frosting of the Caramel Cake uses caramelized sugar as the base while the Yema Cake frosting uses a mixture of eggs/egg yolks and milk. In the Philippines, it is common for bakers to top the frosting of the Yema cake with grated cheese. You can always opt to omit the cheese. Enjoy this cake! I have many recipes to share with you.
